BATTLEFIELD BASEBALL

Player try out meeting 2/13/2024 HR1301

Intro Coaches- Coach Burkhart, Coach Thompson, Coach Williams, Coach Howell, and Coach Coleman

JV- Coach Knouff, and Coach McCoy.
 

Try outs begin 2/19-2/22- 2:00pm-5:30pm. Tuesday-Thursday will be 2:30pm-5:00pm

Physical/Concussion turn in, Tuesday, 2/13/24, 3pm-5pm in the commons.

Need a yellow sheet from Ms. Nelson---Includes- Physical and concussion certificate

Team room- equipment needs to be in there by 7:20. It stays closed till 2:05pm.

NO equipment drop off to the front office.

Inclement weather could impact practice plan.  This means to have gear for three days and prepare for indoor and outdoor tryouts on baseball field or the football stadium turf.

Bring all baseball equipment- indoor athletic shoes, water etc.

Proper attire- baseball only/bring warm clothes. (Limit travel clothing)

Ride can pick you up after tryouts complete

No outside spectators during tryouts

Format- All players will split up into four groups by class. 9^th=100’s, 10=200’s, 11=300’s, 12=400’s.

First day of Tryouts will be P/C’s only.

Players being evaluated on

-Timed 40’s,60’s sprints

-Throw from position/radar OF/INF
INF/OF drills

-Hitting-exit velocity

-Pens-P and C

Player cuts will be on Wednesday or Thursday following the tryout.

May need to split up in groups 9&10, 11&12 if needed.
